AI QA TestCase Generator ("we", "our", "the extension") is a Chrome extension that generates QA test cases from webpage UI elements using AI. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

2. Data We Collect

• Email address and password — for account registration and authentication. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text.
• Page URL and title — sent to our server only when you explicitly click "Scan This Page".
• UI element data — interactive elements (buttons, inputs, forms, links) extracted from the scanned page to generate test cases.
• IP address — collected at registration for anti-spam purposes.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not track your browsing history or activity in the background.
• We do not collect data from pages you do not explicitly scan.
• We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.

4. How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate your account and manage your subscription.
• To send scanned page data to OpenAI's API for test case generation.
• To send transactional emails (verification, subscription confirmations).
• To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse.

5. Third-Party Services

• OpenAI — processes page element data to generate test cases. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

• Resend — sends transactional emails. See Resend's Privacy Policy.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway. All communication between the extension and our server is encrypted via HTTPS. Authentication tokens are stored locally in Chrome's storage API.

7. Data Retention

Scan history is retained based on your plan (Free: no history, Pro: 30 days, Team: 90 days). You can request account deletion by contacting us.

8. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us at trandinhkhanh213@gmail.com.

9. Data Sales

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
